Dear Families,

Welcome to a brand-new school year at Oleander—and what a special year it is! We are thrilled to celebrate 70 incredible years of Bear Spirit, right alongside another magical milestone: Disneyland’s 70th anniversary! Just like the happiest place on Earth, we’re planning a year full of wonder, joy, and unforgettable memories.

Our theme this year, “From Cubs to Champions: 70 Years of Bear Spirit!”, honors our proud history while looking ahead to a bright and inspiring future. Whether your child is just beginning their journey with us or continuing to grow and thrive, we are committed to making this year one of growth, connection, and celebration.

Let’s make this a year where every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to shine. Together, we’ll create magical moments, build lasting friendships, and continue the legacy of excellence that defines our Bear community.

Here’s to a joyful, successful, and truly magical school year!

I look forward to seeing our TK and Kinder students at TK & Kinder Orientation Tuesday, August 5^th from 4:30-5:30 and Grades 1-5 Tuesday, August 5^th from 5:00-6:00 PM for Back to School Night.

¡Bienvenidos de nuevo, familias de osos!

Estimadas familias,

Bienvenidos a un nuevo año escolar en Oleander, ¡y qué año tan especial es! Estamos encantados de celebrar 70 increíbles años de Bear Spirit, junto con otro hito mágico: ¡el 70 aniversario de Disneyland! Al igual que el lugar más feliz de la Tierra, estamos planeando un año lleno de maravillas, alegría y recuerdos inolvidables.

Nuestro lema de este año, "De cachorros a campeones: ¡70 años de espíritu de Oso!", honra nuestra orgullosa historia mientras mira hacia un futuro brillante e inspirador. Ya sea que su hijo esté comenzando su viaje con nosotros o continúe creciendo y prosperando, estamos comprometidos a hacer de este año uno de progreso, conexión y celebración.

Hagamos de éste un año en el que todos los estudiantes se sientan vistos, apoyados y empoderados para brillar. Juntos, crearemos momentos mágicos, construiremos amistades duraderas y continuaremos el legado de excelencia que define a nuestra comunidad Oso.

¡Por un año escolar alegre, exitoso y verdaderamente mágico!

Espero ver a nuestros estudiantes de TK y Kinder en  la Orientación de TK y Kinder el martes 5 de agosto de 4:30 a 5:30 y a los de los grados 1-5  el martes 5 de agosto de 5:00 a 6:00 p.m. para la Noche de Regreso a Clases.
